1. A medical grade computer and camera captures a digital photo of a prepared tooth (eliminating the need for traditional tooth impressions).
2. Based on the photo, the computer generates a three-dimensional CAD model of the prepped tooth, which can be used to design a tooth restoration on the computer screen.
3. The computer employs the digital model of the tooth restoration and CAM to mill a perfect ceramic tooth while you wait.
4. The ceramic restoration is fitted to your prepped tooth in a matter of minutes.

The method can be used to design any single tooth restoration such as crowns, inlays (fillings), onlays (partial crowns), and veneers. It allows the color and shape of the restoration to be custom designed for your specific smile.
